FAQs

What are the must-see attractions in and around Melbourne’s CBD?

Popular sites include Federation Square, the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), the Royal Botanic Gardens, Queen Victoria Market, Chinatown, Docklands, The Shrine of Remembrance, The Eureka Tower (sky deck), NGV, Crown Casino, Hosier Lane (Graffiti Lane), St Kilda, Brighton Beach Boxes, and the list goes on!

Top day trips include the Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island (that includes the Penguin Parade), the Yarra Valley for wine tasting, the Mornington Peninsula, the Grampians, Puffing Billy, plenty of animal sanctuaries, full and complete day tours of the CBD, plus many more!

The best time is during spring (September to November) and autumn (March to May) when the weather is mild and pleasant. Plus there are a lot less tourists. Meaning more free time to explore rather than fighting the lines of people and traffic on the road.

Yes, there are many guided day tours and multi-day tours available, including: English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Chinese (普通话). I myself can do all tours in all 5 of these languages. Plus if there are other languages needed, please don’t hesitate to ask. As I can provide people who speak other languages too.
